Accessible Parking

Reserved Accessible Parking in Boulder

Reserved accessible parking is provided in designated street spaces as well as downtown Central Area General Improvement District (CAGID) parking structures. These spaces are signed and marked, limiting use to vehicles displaying a valid disabled placard/license plate.

Note: The fine for parking in a reserved accessible space without a valid disabled placard/license plate is $112.

Prepaid Parking Permit Program

This program allows individuals with a valid disabled placard/plate to prepay for metered parking. These coupons may be used in all metered spaces including designated accessible metered spaces. The coupons are sold individually for $3.00. Each coupon allows parking for up to 3 hours on 1 day without operating a meter.

The permits may be purchased from the City of Boulder Parking Services in person or by mail.
