Thunderbird Lake Update
2016-2019 Adaptive Management Plan
To ensure the long-term sustainability of the lake, BPR hired a consultant team to develop an Adaptive Management Plan to respond to the findings of lake monitoring efforts
. In addition to providing goals and recommendations, the 2016-2019 Adaptive Management Plan report outlines inspection, monitoring and response actions in line with an adaptive management approach. The framework for the report also responds to and supports themes established in the Boulder Parks and Recreation Department Master Plan (2014) including taking care of existing assets, financial sustainability, and building community and relationships.
