Camp Amico

Camp AMICO campers

Come experience the adventures that Camp AMICO has to offer!

Camp AMICO is for teens with disabilities ages 12 to 18, and peer mentors ages 14 to 18, who want to participate in an inclusive camp. Every day is a new day to build friendships and to have fun! Come be a part of Camp AMICO.

Adventures Include

  • Fieldtrips. They vary each year, but have included Broomfield Bay, CU, libraries, museums and more!
  • Swimming daily
  • Goat farm
  • Recreation centers 
  • Arts and crafts
  • Science experiments

This camp runs from Mondays – Fridays for six weeks through the months of June and July. Camp will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Scholarships are available.

Peer Mentors Needed Throughout the Year!

Calling all motivated and energetic youth ages 14-18! This is an awesome opportunity to develop positive leadership skills while having fun!  Through direct supervision and hands on experience you will learn to lead activities, engage participants, improve your self-confidence all while developing new friendships through exciting and adventurous activities.
