Fitness and Weights


Our comprehensive weight rooms in all three recreation centers are fully outfitted with weight machines, free weights, cardiovascular equipment, as well as exercise balls, foam rollers, balance discs/boards and BOSUs.

Access up-to-the-minute class information and schedules with a few clicks on your mobile or desktop device including cancellations, substitutions and more!

Registration Classes and Workshops

Offered as a session of classes that meet weekly for a resident or non-resident fee.

 New Member Fitness Orientation

Available to individuals, couples and families! This complimentary orientation is designed to familiarize new members with the facility, programs, and services offered through the recreation department to support your active lifestyle. Led by a Fitness Professional, the orientation provides a personalized experience based on your individual goals and interests. Registration required.

Youth Weight Room Orientation

REQUIRED for all youth under the age of 16 in order to use the weight and cardio areas. This complimentary orientation provides youth (ages 12+) with the policies, procedures and instructions to safely use and operate the equipment located in the weight and cardio areas. Once completed and approved by a personal trainer, youth may use the equipment with parent/adult supervision.

Orientations held once a month on Mondays at 4:30pm at South Boulder Recreation Center. Registration is required. Click below to view open dates and reserve your space. Free for members.

Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching

Have a certified Fitness Professional work with you to design a program to achieve your personal health and fitness goals. Choose from Private and Semi-Private (2 individuals) sessions. One hour sessions can address introduction to weight lifting, sports-specific training, weight loss, pre/post-rehab and general fitness goals. 

Make the most of the fuel you use to power your body and mind with a private nutrition consultation with a registered dietitian nutritionist or nutrition coach.
