Howard Heuston Park Renovation Celebration

Howard Heuston Park

First Annual Multi-Cultural Family Festival and Heuston Park Renovation Celebration hosted by The Family Learning Center and the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department.

Saturday, May 12, 2018
2 - 6 p.m.
3200 34th St.

The purpose of this event is to provide and to encourage low income, minority and other underserved populations with opportunities to increase their engagement in public physical spaces (parks, bike and hiking trails), share community health and wellness opportunities, and to create a fun event that celebrates family diversity, fitness, health and wellness and a celebration of the renovation of Heuston Park.

There will be multi-cultural entertainment, youth sports strength and conditioning camp, dancers, local bands, turkey hot dogs, fruit, water and other healthy snacks. Arts and crafts for children, including face painting, and community partners will provide invaluable information on a variety of community resources. There will be many more activities for families and children.

We'll have pet resources too. Visit the Humane Society of Boulder Valley or find out more about the Voice and Sight Tag Program for the City of Boulder Animal Control.

Parking is limited so please bike or walk, if possible.
