National Public Lands Day

Volunteers at Columbia Cemetery

Saturday, Sept. 30

This year there are two opportunities to give back to your public lands on National Public Lands Day.

Columbia Cemetery Iris Project

Join us for a morning of beautifying the Columbia Cemetery from 9 AM to12 PM. This historic cemetery is one of Boulder’s oldest public lands site. The cemetery sits on 10.5 acres of public land and is a historic, cultural, and artistic resource containing the remains of many of our city's founders and pioneers. On National Public Lands Day volunteers will help maintain the historic irises and take on other landscaping projects.

Please sign up by 5 PM on September 29 so we can determine the equipment and refreshment requirements.

Volunteers will get to take home a historic iris for their own yard!

Boulder Creek Clean Up

Rocky Mountain Anglers will be hosting a clean up along Boulder Creek. More information will be provided regarding this clean up soon!
