We maintain more than 60 parks including sports fields, playgrounds, picnic shelters, a skate park, the Pearl Street Mall, the Municipal Plaza, Valmont City Park, community parks, neighborhood parks, pocket parks, dog parks and more.

Let’s work together this 4th of July (and everyday) to keep Boulder’s parks beautiful. We hope that many of you will get outdoors to spend the holiday with family and friends. Please respect park rules and etiquette so that everyone’s visit is safe and enjoyable. As a reminder, if you plan to spend the holiday at one of Boulder’s city parks:

  • All litter must be disposed in a trash receptacle or removed from the park if containers are full
  • No alcohol without a permit
  • Glass containers are not allowed
  • No fires allowed except by permit, this includes no portable grills or use of fireworks
  • City parks are closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. and camping is prohibited
