Tantra Park Renovation Celebration

Tantra Park

Let’s celebrate the renovation and honor the efforts of the community for raising the funds to install Boulder’s first slackline park. We will have light refreshments, youth activities, slackline demonstrations and a drawing for free stuff!

Thank you for the volunteer community support for the tree planting project at Tantra Park. The volunteer project is currently full. Students from Summit Middle School will be planting trees in the morning as a service project and community members will be planting trees during the first part of the celebration. Brookfield Dr. and S. 46th St.

Summit Middle School has generously offered parking in the adjacent school parking lot at Hanover Ave. and S. 46th St. Students from Summit are also assisting with a tree planting project earlier in the day as a service project. Thank you Summit Middle School!

Partners who helped make Boulder's first slackline park possible:

Slackline Industries

Thank you to Slackline Industries for their ongoing support and for providing the slackline post placement design and discounted posts.

Slackline Community

Thank you to the slackline community for showing support of Boulder's first slackline park. This park would not exist without you! The community raised more than half of the funding for the design and installation of the slackline park.

Special thanks to the Boulder Slacklining Association for helping staff build the crowdfunding site and promoting it to the community.

Resilient Together

Thank you to Resilient Together for your support in the slackline park project and the growth and strength of community groups. The stronger we are together, the more adaptive we are to every environmental, social, and economic shock and stress we might face.

In Our Back Yard (ioby.org)

Thank you to ioby.org for supplying the crowdfunding platform as a foundation for the overwhelming community support for the slackline park. The technology and staff made it possible to donate and fund the project in a simple and timely format.
