Valmont Bike Park Programs

Valmont Bike Park is one of the largest municipal bike parks in the country. In order to support the Department's mission of sustainable practices and to preserve Boulder's recreational asset, a Permit Use program is in place. Programs, lessons, and clinics that charge a fee are required to obtain a permit. Programs that do not charge a fee are also required to obtain a permit to help balance the impact on trails with other users of the park. The current contracted programs are run through Avid4Adventure and Lee Likes Bikes. All other groups are required to obtain a permit from the below application:

Valmont Bike Park Special Events

Valmont Bike Park offers miles of trails and dozes of features for off-road cycling disciplines. This facility has become the premiere space for races and events. Examples include festivals, mountain bike short track races, cyclocross races, and other planned group use activities. Event applicants are responsible to accurately assess and document the activities, anticipated attendees, and all components of the proposed event. Coordination with the Valmont Park Manager is required ahead of time but the first step is to obtain a permit through the below application:
