Capital Maintenance Work Jan. – Feb. 2019

As part of the Parks and Recreation 2014 Master Plan promise to “take care of what we have,” Parks and Recreation’s annual Capital Investment Program identified Wonderland Lake Park as a priority for funding in 2019 based upon site condition and needs. Starting in January, crews will repair and renovate existing assets at the park, including the irrigation system, sidewalk and signage replacement, as well as some landscape improvements including tree work and planter repairs.

The park will remain open to the public during the renovations, although certain park amenities, including bike and pedestrian paths in the vicinity, may be disrupted intermittently. The city will make every effort to minimize these impacts to park neighbors and visitors.

This work is unrelated to the Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Integrated Site Plan for Wonderland Lake
