Blotter - July 10, 2019

Officers responded to Alfalfa's, located at 1651 Broadway, on a disturbance involving a male transient refusing to leave before taking a swing at a female manager. The suspect left the store prior to officers’ arrival; however, they were able to identify the suspect after viewing the security video footage. The man was located on the Pearl Street Mall for Trespassing and Physical Harassment.  Case# 19-7595

Officers were dispatched to the top of the hill at Scott Carpenter for a nude male sunbathing. The man was located wearing only a t-shirt. He said he was just getting some sun and was aware of his lack of pants. He was issued a summons for Public Indecency. Hours later officers were dispatched to the creek area by Scott Carpenter Park on a male, naked and in the creek. The naked man was located sitting on a rock in the middle of the creek and arrested for the Public Indecency. Case# 19-7593 & 19-7604

Officers were dispatched to a report of an altercation at Baseline Liquors. Both men were issued brawling tickets. One of the men was also arrested for violating a protection order. Case# 19-7618

Tebo Coin at 2863 28th Street was burglarized in a smash and grab style burglary. Approximately $1000 worth of silver coins were taken. A short time later the suspect returned to the business in an apparent effort to sell the coins back and was promptly arrested for burglary. Case# 19-7632
