Blotter - Sept. 18, 2017

A 24-year-old man was arrested after a woman encountered him the King Soopers parking lot on 30th Street and he threatened to kill his family and father. During their conversation, the woman believed that a bulge in his shirt was a gun.  She was able to distract him and call police.  They found him in his car at the Scott Carpenter Park parking lot where he was uncooperative and kept reaching down in his lap.  He was removed from the vehicle and officers discovered a loaded handgun inside his pants. Once he was identified, a Nationwide warrant out of Georgia on making terrorist threats was found.  In addition, Boulder Police charged him with Felony Menacing and Criminal Impersonation.  17-12320
