Blotter - Sept. 30, 2017

Police arrested a 55-year-old female on a Boulder County warrant for Second Degree Assault, Felony Menacing and Hit and Run. This stemmed from an incident on Sept. 28, 2017 where the suspect struck a mechanic at Meineke, 2163 28th Street, with her vehicle after an argument about payment for work done on her car.  The victim attempted to jump out of the way but ended up on the hood.  The suspect accelerated and the victim went up and over the vehicle, over the trunk and landed on 28th Street.  He was transported to Boulder Community Health with non-life threatening injuries.  17-12806

A vehicle ran the red light at 30th Street and Aurora and struck a pedestrian on a skateboard. The skateboarder had minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital.  The driver of the car was issued a summons for Failure to Obey Traffic Signal.  The skateboarder was also cited for Pedestrian Disregarded Traffic Control Signal.  17-12984
