Police Chief Town Halls
The Boulder Police Chief’s April Town Hall scheduled for April 8th has been cancelled. Please join us again in May.
Chief Maris Herold likes to engage with the community to share information, and the biggest part of that is answering your questions. Right now the safest way to do so is virtually so the chief will be holding monthly Zoom meetings that last about an hour.
Sessions will be held during the daytime and evening to ensure they are as accessible as possible.
“The pandemic may have limited our ability to hold these meetings in person, but it doesn’t mean we can’t find ways to engage with our community and keep everyone informed,” Chief Maris Herold said. “One of the best ways we curb crime in the city is by making sure residents and business owners know what’s going on in their neighborhoods.
These meetings will include brief updates on crime trends, police reform and focus on different topics. Different members of the Command Staff will also join the chief for these discussions, which will be facilitated by a city representative. The sessions will be recorded and made available for later viewing if you cannot attend.
