Nutrition & Fitness Coaching 4-Week Program

Personalized 4-Week Nutrition & PT Combo Package

Work with our nationally certified Nutrition Coaches & Personal Trainers to kickstart and succeed in a new routine. Whether you are new to exercise, want to learn to build healthy habits, or maximize your performance, this customized 4-week program can help you achieve your nutrition and fitness goals. This program includes access to weekly 1:1 nutrition coaching sessions and personal fitness training coaching sessions over the course of 4 weeks.

All nutrition coaching sessions can be done virtually or in-person. The personal training Get Started session must be completed in-person. All follow-up coaching sessions with your nutrition coach and personal trainer can be done virtually or in-person.

Personal Training

Have a nationally-certified fitness professional design a results-driven program with you to achieve your personal health and fitness goals. If you are returning to the gym from an injury or have specific orthopedic concerns, a trainer can assist you to transition from physical therapy to working out pain-free on your own.

The required initial “Get Started” appointment is 90 minutes in length and includes a consultation and optional cardiovascular, muscle strength and flexibility assessments. All follow-up appointments are 60 minutes in length. Choose virtual or in-person, individual or semi-private (two individuals.) All sessions and packages are non-transferrable and expire 1 year from date of purchase.

Semi-Private Personal Training (Fee is for two individuals)

Each individual in a semi-private session must pay for a session. When you purchase a session through the link below, the price is cut in half so that each individual pays for half the cost of a session. For example, when clicking on the link below to purchase a single session, each individual will pay $35, for a total of $70. Click on the session links to learn more and purchase sessions!

SEMI-PRIVATE CANCELLATION POLICY: If only one person shows up for a semi-private session, both people will still be charged for the session and a punch will be pulled from both client's accounts. In order to reschedule or cancel without being charged, you must contact your trainer at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session. Please see our Cancellation & Refund Policy below.

Transitional Training (Personal Training with a Physical Therapist)

If you are returning to the gym from an injury or have specific orthopedic concerns, a physical therapist can assist you to transition from physical therapy to working out pain-free on your own. Click on the session links to learn more and purchase sessions!

Orientations and Assessments

Running Assessment:

Cost: $86

Led by a physical therapist and intended for the uninjured runner or those looking to improve running form and performance, this detailed evaluation will help improve running form and reduce risk of injury with evidence-based analysis and exercise programming.

This 90-minute, one-on-one session will include an analysis of running form and cadence and an evaluation of strength and flexibility crucial for running. Feel more confident in your runs and training with an individualized exercise plan to improve form and address specific areas of weakness in muscular strength and flexibility.

Follow up sessions for exercise progressions are available if desired and upon request.

Older Adult Functional Assessment

Cost $15

This fitness assessment is designed to provide feedback to new members regarding their current health and fitness status to find the best program fit for their individual needs and goals. Led by a fitness professional, the basic functional assessment consists of evaluating cardiovascular conditioning, strength, flexibility and balance. Activity and program recommendations will be given based on the results. This assessment and consultation is intended to help older adults maintain an active and fully functional lifestyle. Cost is $15 per person by registration only. Assessments are limited to 3 participants. Register in person at any recreation center front desk or call 303-441-3148 to make a reservation. Scheduled every two weeks so please call for available dates through the fall.

Youth Weight Room Orientation:

Cost: no cost for members

All youth under the age of 14 must complete a personal trainer led 30 minute weight room orientation in order to use the weight room with the supervision of an adult. Youth Weight Room Orientations are offered to youth age 12-13 years and are required for them to use the space and equipment without adult supervision (optional for youth 14 years of age). These 30 minute orientations provide an opportunity to teach youth how to use the weight room equipment safely and weight training policies and protocols. Following the orientation, a note is put on the account of the member for use of the equipment.

Adult Weight Room Orientation:

Cost: no cost for new members

These 30 minute orientations provide an opportunity to teach members how to use the weight room equipment safely and weight training policies and protocols. Following the orientation, members will have the knowledge and tools to safely and effectively utilize our weight and cardio equipment on their own to achieve their fitness goals.

Fitness Assessment and Consultation:

Cost $30

This initial Fitness Assessment and consultation includes a series of fitness tests and review of results that help determine your current fitness level and provides a baseline with which to chart your progress. The assessment covers all the components of fitness, including: body composition, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and muscular strength and endurance. After the assessment, your trainer will review your results and provide resources to help you set and achieve your fitness goals. Plan on spending at least 30 minutes to an hour to complete your fitness assessment and consultation.

Before Your Assessment

Make sure to get plenty of rest the night before. If coming to us from work, pack your gym clothes the night before. Wear loose fitting clothes (jogging attire, shorts, training shoes, etc.) Avoid alcohol, tobacco, and coffee for at least 3 hours before your assessment. Make sure you eat something solid about two hours before your appointment. Avoid exercising on the same day, prior to your assessment. Exercise will elevate your blood pressure and resting heart rate - invalidating these measures. Please inform assessor if you are suffering from any acute respiratory infection or related condition.

During Your Assessment

During Your Fitness Assessment - the assessment is designed so that we can learn about your body’s strength and weaknesses by performing a series of evaluations. If at any time you feel faint, nauseous, sick, or dizzy, tell your trainer. We will immediately stop whatever we are doing with you. Your health and wellbeing is our primary concern! The objective of your first assessment is to give you a baseline from which to measure your health and fitness. Subsequent assessments will provide milestones to help you evaluate your progress.

Nutrition Coaching

Make the most of the fuel you use to power your body and mind with a private nutrition consultation with a registered dietitian nutritionist or certified nutrition coach. Our nutrition professionals will assist you in making lifestyle changes that can include how to plan, prepare and select nutritious foods that support your optimal health.

The “Get Started” package includes (1) 60-minute initial session and (3) 30-minute follow-up sessions, scheduled every 2 weeks with your coach. Follow-up sessions must be used within 6 weeks of initial session. Choose virtual or in-person. All sessions and packages are non-transferrable and expire 1 year from date of purchase.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If the client cancels more than 24 hours prior to the lesson, he or she will have the opportunity to reschedule the personal training session and will not be charged. However, if a private training session is cancelled within 24 hours, or a client does not arrive for the lesson within 15 minutes of the start time, no refund will be issued under any circumstances.
