Collaborating to Build Vibrant Livable Communities

As a part of the Neighborhood Policing Areas program police officers are assigned to specific neighborhoods, so that they can work with community members and business owners, to collaboratively address crimes and other community issues in an effort build vibrant livable communities.

Neighborhood Police

Neighborhood Police Officers will be available to:

  • Work collaboratively with community members and businesses to address crime and other neighborhood problems
  • Answer questions
  • Work with other City of Boulder agencies to address crimes and other issues that are negatively impacting the neighborhood
  • Assist by providing crime prevention related public education
  • When available, attend HOA meetings and other neighborhood events
  • Track crimes and other problems in their Neighborhood Policing Area

Report a Neighborhood Policing Issue

  • If you have a crime to report call Boulder Police Communications at 303-441-3333 or in the event of an emergency dial 9-1-1.
  • Do not attempt to contact your Neighborhood Police Officer to address in-progress crimes.

  • Locate your Neighborhood Police Officer on the Neighborhood Policing Map.
  • Click to email the officer assigned to your neighborhood directly from the map.
  • Due to training or other scheduling conflicts it could take several days for your Neighborhood Police Officer to respond to your email.
  • Do not attempt to contact your Neighborhood Police Officer to address in-progress crimes.
