“The pandemic may have limited our ability to hold these meetings in person, but it doesn’t mean we can’t find ways to engage with our community and keep everyone informed,” Chief Maris Herold said. “One of the best ways we curb crime in the city is by making sure residents and business owners know what’s going on in their neighborhoods.
These meetings will include brief updates on crime trends, police reform and focus on different topics. Different members of the Command Staff will also join the chief for these discussions, which will be facilitated by a city representative. The sessions will be recorded and made available for later viewing if you cannot attend.
Town Halls have concluded for 2022. Please refer to the Reimagine Policing project page for updates.
