The Living Lab Phase II - Folsom Street project provided the opportunity to learn and apply many important lessons with respect to public outreach and communications; data collection, analysis and reporting; and project installation. The documents below detail the lessons learned and includes an information packet to the Transportation Advisory Board (5-2-16) and a Lessons Learned presentation.

Past Events

On Thursday, April 21, the Living Lab project team, along with the rest of the City of Boulder Transportation Division, hosted a Complete Streets Open House to explore how the city is improving the transportation system to meet the safety and the sustainability goals of the community.

The Open House featured key findings from the following  Living Lab Pilot Projects:

  • Baseline Road Protected Bike Lane
  • Harvard Lane Dashed Bike Lanes
  • Folsom Street

Community feedback will help guide next steps on whether to continue, refine or remove the street design treatments currently being tested along Folsom Street. This was one of several forums planned this spring to share information and gather community feedback on the Living Lab Pilot Projects.
