Dogs must be leashed on the southern end of the East Boulder - Teller Farm Trail because of aggressive coyote behavior in the area. Coyotes have recently been following and attacking dogs near the trail. If a coyote approaches you:
- Do not run or turn your back - Be as big and loud as possible
- Face the coyote and back away slowly - Wave your arms and throw objects
- If attacked fight back
Protect Your Pets:
- Use extra caution dusk and dawn
- Avoid known or potential den sites and thick vegetation
- Do not allow dogs to interact with coyotes
