Boulder Arts Week is an annual celebration that honors the artists, nonprofits, businesses, theaters and galleries that bring the arts to life and strengthen connection in our community. There are many ways to participate in this year’s Arts Week events, including mural tours, theater performances, dance workshops, poetry readings, pottery classes and more offerings located throughout the city.
This year, Arts Week is kicking off its first-ever Boulder Arts Week Awards. These awards, which are funded through the Community Vitality Department’s Office of Arts and Culture, recognize individuals and organizations that help make Boulder’s arts community thrive. Winners will receive a $1,000 stipend to support their work or donate to an arts organization. By recognizing these changemakers, the city hopes to inspire continued creativity and collaboration in Boulder’s arts ecosystem.

Nominations are open now through April 3 for all award categories except for the Boulder Buzz Award, which is open during Arts Week.
"Boulder Arts Week is a vibrant annual celebration of our local artists and creatives, whose work enriches our community and enhances our quality of life,” said Aaron Brockett, City of Boulder Mayor. “Furthermore, the arts play a critical role in advancing our city’s key community priorities, offering creative solutions to pressing challenges such as climate adaptation, equity and diversity, and housing stability. By fostering dialogue, inspiring action, and engaging diverse perspectives, the arts help shape a more sustainable, equitable and resilient future for Boulder."
Boulder Arts Week is a collaboration of the Boulder County Arts Alliance, the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, the City of Boulder Community Vitality Department, Create Boulder and other cultural leaders in our community.
