In observance of the winter holidays, the City of Boulder is adjusting its operations schedules.
Boulder Police Department detectives have arrested a tailor in connection with two incidents that were reported to have occurred at the business.
Late yesterday, Sept. 28, detectives arrested Ziya Ozdemir, 43, pictured here, owner of Uni Tailor in the 4800 block of Baseline Road.
He has been charged with two counts of unlawful sexual contact stemming from two separate incidents that occurred while he was tailoring clothes on two females. The first incident occurred Jan. 10, 2018, and involved an adult female. The second incident occurred Aug. 31, 2021, and involved a juvenile female. Both women reported they were touched inappropriately while their clothing was being tailored.
Detectives are concerned there may be other victims who have not yet reported incidents to law enforcement.
