Community members reminded to follow public health guidelines while celebrating

All city facilities and services will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25, and most will be closed on Friday, Nov. 26, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Select city facilities and services will reopen on Friday, Nov. 26, including:

  • The East Boulder Community Center from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • The Boulder Reservoir from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Flatirons Golf Course, with tee times available to book online.

Parking is free in city garages, parking lots and at on-street meters on Thursday. Pay parking will resume on Friday.

While celebrating this holiday, community members and visitors are reminded to follow public health guidelines intended to limit the spread of COVID-19, including wearing facial coverings. Learn more on Boulder County Public Health’s website .

Due to the pandemic, outdoor activities continue to be safer than indoor ones. Visit the city’s trails and trailheads webpage or OSMPTrails.org to plan your visit to city open space. When recreating outside, please remember we all play a part in keeping our parks and trails a safe place to visit.
