Event attendees will have the chance to participate in a sustainable, energy-saving give-away.
The upcoming Climate Initiatives Community Conversation will bring together community members and city staff to celebrate Boulder’s early achievement of its local renewable energy goal, discuss clean energy progress and explore opportunities for a resilient and equitable energy future. The event will provide a platform for participants to engage with the city’s efforts in decarbonizing the energy system, increasing energy affordability, and ensuring that all community members have access to reliable, sustainable energy sources.
“We want our community to stay informed about Boulder’s energy transformation progress and successes,” said Carolyn Elam, Sustainability Senior Manager at the City of Boulder’s Climate Initiatives Department. “This is an important opportunity for us to hear directly from the community, celebrate our accomplishments, and build momentum for the next steps in achieving an equitable and sustainable energy system.”
The event is free and open to the public, offering a chance to share ideas and feedback with the Climate Initiatives team and discuss how community members can help create a cleaner, more resilient energy future.
