In observance of the winter holidays, the City of Boulder is adjusting its operations schedules over the next two weeks. The following provides detailed information, by date.

City of Boulder Christmas and New Year’s closures

Tuesday, Dec. 24

  • Flatirons Golf Course and Boulder Reservoir will be closed all day.
  • West and East Age Well Centers will be closed all day.
  • South Boulder Recreation Center will be closed. North Boulder Recreation Center and the East Boulder Community Center will close at 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 25

  • All city offices, the West and East Age Well Centers, all recreation facilities, Flatirons Golf Course and Boulder Reservoir will be closed.
  • Parking will be free in city garages, parking lots and on-street meters all day.
  • The HOP bus will run holiday service from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at a 23-minute frequency.

Tuesday, Dec. 31

  • Flatirons Golf Course, Boulder Reservoir will be closed all day.
  • South Boulder Recreation Center will be closed all day. North Boulder Recreation Center and the East Boulder Community Center will close at 1:30 p.m.
  • West and East Age Well Center will close at 12 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025

  • All city offices, the West and East Age Well Centers, Flatirons Golf Course and Boulder Reservoir will be closed.
  • North and South Recreation Centers will be closed, but the East Boulder Community Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Parking will be free in city garages, parking lots and on-street meters all day.
