All City of Boulder administrative facilities and Age Well Centers will be closed Thursday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday. Some facilities and services will remain open.
The City of Boulder presents Arts in the Park, a program showcasing a vibrant blend of arts and cultural performances. Arts in the Park performances will take place at the Glen Huntington Band Shell in the city’s Civic Area. We'll showcase local talent as well as performances from the Boulder Ballet, Boulder Symphony, Boulder Opera and Boulder Philharmonic.
Arts in the Park 2024 will run from June 1 - Aug. 31 at and around the Glen Huntington Band Shell. These performances will be free or low cost to the community and provide assistance to local and independent performing artists.
Enjoy a summer evening’s entertainment as seasoned Spellbinders Storytellers regale and transport you with timeless tales. Then hear the stories recapped by guest musical artists Ameya who will create spontaneous musical impressions. Bring your family, your friends and a summer picnic for this delightfully unique experience.
Spellbinders.org is a 501c3 that has been keeping the oral tradition of storytelling alive in Boulder Valley Schools for over 20 years. Learn more about them on their website.

Zach Miller is a certified sound healing practitioner that uses sound healing as a universal technique to hold space for people who want to bring healing, growth, and spiritual transcendence into their lives and bodies. He uses a combination of various instruments like gongs, crystal bowls, chimes, and other healing instruments to create a relaxing and interesting soundscape to help people access lower brainwave states in order to help turn on their body’s natural healing systems.

Brody Bennett 5:30 p.m. - 6:15p.m.
Brody Bennett is a singer-songwriter who plays multiple instruments and enjoys recording original music, born and raised in Erie, Colorado along the front range mountains. As an upcoming vocalist and guitarist, Brody incorporates experimental elements into his compositions and mixes genres from folk/country to alternative rock, but always makes melodic, lyrical music with captivating progressions.
Ever wonder what the Legend Of Zelda would sound like as surf rock? Or what Taylor Swift would sound like in a Tony Hawk game? An instrumental solo project led by Colombian guitar player Daniel Mateo, Audio Mocha is primarily known for video game remixes and has performed at multiple conventions around the country, and has been featured on OverClocked Remix, Dwelling Of Duels and Pixel Mixers. Besides video game music, Audio Mocha also performs surf rock originals and pop covers so if you are looking for tropical vibes, don't miss out and join us at the Boulder Bandshell!
Jonny Schreiber, also known as "The Elaborate Owl," hails from Colorado and is an Indie-Electronic music writer, producer, and performer. His music blends uplifting melodies with emotional introspection, evoking a range of feelings from joy to contemplation. Currently based in Boulder, he eagerly anticipates sharing his distinctive live performances. These include keyboard and guitar playing, singing, rapping, and spoken word, alongside looping, launching, and DJing samples using his launchpad. Community Spotlight Performances
Community Spotlight Performances are a way for the city to provide a viable outdoor venue for local artists and arts professionals, provide art performances and experiences to the community, and create a welcoming and safe space for all. They will run throughout the summer along with our signature events produced by the Boulder Parks and Recreation Department.
To encourage applications to this series, the city will provide sponsorships to qualified organizations on a first come, first served basis. Apply today!
