The Boulder County Heritage Roundtable’s annual awards ceremony will take place at 6:30pm on Monday, May 18th at the Chautauqua Community House (301 Morning Glory Drive). This public event honors those who have given their time and talents to help preserve local history. Awards to be presented include the Square Nail Lifetime Achievement Award for individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the field and the Local History and Preservation Honor Award for the completion of special projects. Authors who have written about Boulder County and residents who have landmarked their homes or business buildings will also be recognized.

The Boulder Heritage Roundtable is a small organization comprised of Boulder County historical societies, museums, and libraries, as well as city and county departments that focus on local history preservation. Members of the Roundtable meet monthly to connect with each other to build knowledge of Boulder County history and to collaborate on issues related to local history preservation.
