City of Boulder and Tribal Nations Policies and Practices

The Arts Commission will be led through a discussion with consultant Ernest House Jr. of the Keystone Policy Center and city staff. The topics covered will include:

  • An overview of how the city seeks to go beyond its staff land acknowledgement through meaningful consultation with American Indian Tribal Nations.
  • The Commission's roles and responsibilities as appointees of City Council, and ways in which the Arts Commission can positively and proactively support the Indigenous community.

In the meantime, learn more about the city's ongoing work with Tribal Nations through our consultation webpage.
