FAQs

  • Where can I buy tickets?
    • Tickets can be purchased online or in person at one of our recreation centers.
  • I have a family of four. How many tickets do I need?
    • Each ticket is good for one car. You may bring however many people you can legally fit in your vehicle.
  • I bought an extra ticket and now I don't need it. Should I sell it on Facebook?
    • Please send an email to: DowL@bouldercolorado.gov. We can give you a refund and allow community members on the waitlist to be able to attend Refunds are not available within 48 hours of the event. If you don't want a refund, it can always be a contribution to Play Boulder Foundation.
  • What all do I get with my ticket?
    • Your ticket will get you access to one movie, one parking space, and a goody bag.
  • Can I bring food onsite?
    • Yes, you may bring in your own food, however please “pack in and pack out” all trash. No outside alcohol is allowed at the event. Lakeside Café will be open starting at 5:00 p.m., serving food and beverages including popcorn, hot dogs, soft serve ice cream, chips and snacks, along with non-alcoholic beverages and their full bar.
  • Are dogs allowed at the event?
    • Yes, dogs are allowed as long as they are on-leash if they are outside of your vehicle.
  • I did not get tickets before they sold out, is there a wait list?
    • Yes, you may register for the waitlist online.
  • I cannot make it; can I give my ticket to my friend?
    • No, tickets are nontransferable. You may request a refund by contacting Lena Dow at DowL@bouldercolorado.gov. Refunds are not available within 48 hours of the event.
