This event will include an inclusive celebration featuring youth-led performances, open mic storytelling, traditional East African Didinga and Buya dance, cultural body painting, music, traditional attire, and shared African food. Led by immigrant and refugee community members, local nonprofits, and youth leaders, the event aims to foster belonging, celebrate cultural diversity, promote healing and intercultural connection, and highlight the contributions and experiences of immigrant communities.
This event is free and open to the public and is supported by the city's Human Relations Fund.
