This event will include youth-led music and storytelling, open mic performances, traditional Didinga and Buya dance, cultural body painting, food, music, traditional attire, and interactive community activities designed to foster connection, healing, and cultural expression. Led in collaboration with immigrant and refugee organizations, community leaders, and local partners, the event aims to honor the legacy of Juneteenth while uplifting immigrant voices, promoting inclusion and belonging, and celebrating Boulder’s multicultural community through joyful shared cultural experiences.
This event is free and open to the public and is supported by the city's Human Relations Fund.
