Consideration of a Commitee Recommendation to Revise Policy Statement – Below are the Policy Statement “Principles” & “Positions” that city staff recommend be revised in response to the listed council member requests. The revised language appears in red-line format in the attached “Proposed Revisions to 2024 Policy Statement.

• Position 15, Protect elections . . . from artificial intelligence misinformation – CM Speer
• Position 21, Provide increased support for renters to find and retain housing – CM Adams
