Immigrant Heritage Month events and celebrations honor the immigrants who have shaped the city for generations. These events celebrate the successful integration of immigrants into the civic, economic and cultural life of the Boulder community.
La Vecindad Inc. presents a classic Hip-Hop "battle" produced by Mi Chantli. Hip-Hop is rooted in African/African American/Latin and street cultures. Special celebrity guest judge, BBoy Icey Ives, member of the legendary Rock Force Crew, will vote on the Hip-Hop “battle.” Local immigrant artists will have art for sale and local ethnic food trucks will be present.
