You've told us where Boulder should go in the future—now let's explore how to get there.

As part of the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan update, this interactive workshop invites community members to respond to a set of bold, creative ideas designed to help us achieve the shared goals you've helped shape so far. These ideas reflect the top community priorities identified through months of listening, including housing affordability, climate resilience, transportation options, food systems and more.

This is a space to ask questions, share reactions and help refine ideas before they become part of formal policy proposals. Think of it as a collaborative test kitchen for Boulder’s future.

At this workshop, you will:

  • Hear a series of “Big Ideas” that could guide Boulder’s next steps
  • Help identify which ideas feel promising, which need adjustment and which may be off track
  • Suggest alternatives based on your lived experience and local insight
  • Continue shaping the future of our community in a creative, inclusive setting

This session is designed to be collaborative—no experience needed. Just bring your perspective, your curiosity and your voice.
