Please join us for the annual World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims in Boulder.

This World Day of Remembrance event will provide a platform for road traffic victims and their families, city and county officials, and community members to memorialize those lost while drawing attention to the community's and City of Boulder's commitment to Vision Zero. The event will be outside in front of the downtown Boulder County Courthouse. We will begin with remarks from several speakers, then begin a memorial walk ending at the Glen Huntington Bandshell.

This event is hosted by It Could Be Me in partnership with the City of Boulder. Learn more: World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims in the US.

Vision Zero

We believe no one should be killed or seriously injured in traffic crashes on our streets. Moving about Boulder should be safe, no matter how you get around.

Boulder City Council formally recognizes World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. The city seeks to:

  • Remember road traffic crash victims and support their families
  • Recognize emergency responders’ crucial public service
  • Advocate for a serious, urgent response with evidence-based action.
