Celebrate Boulder’s vibrant arts and cultural scene during Boulder Arts Week 2024.
Boulder is recognized as one of the most vibrant cities in the country because of its arts scene. From talented professional artists to unique performance venues, Boulder is home to an abundance of cultural destinations and experiences. Boulder Arts Week is an annual large-scale celebration of the organizations, individuals and places that connect our community to the arts.
There are many ways to participate in this year’s Boulder Arts Week, including film screenings, magic shows, open studios, improv theater, terrarium workshops and more offerings located throughout the city.
Boulder Arts Week is a collaboration of the Boulder County Arts Alliance, the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, the City of Boulder Community Vitality Department, Create Boulder and other cultural leaders in our community.
“A recent report from Americans for the Arts highlights how important the arts are for enhancing the overall economic and social vitality of Boulder,” City Manager Nuria Rivera-Vandermyde said. “Our amazing creative community plays a critical role in supporting the workforce, promoting cultural tourism and building empathy and understanding among neighbors. Boulder Arts Week is an opportunity to celebrate and support the many nonprofits, venues, businesses and professional artists that enrich all of our lives.”
The community is invited to attend events throughout Boulder Arts Week. Some of this year’s activities include:
- NoBo First Friday
- Motus Theater Playback Improv
- Blue Dime Cabaret at DV8 Distillery
- Boulder Junction Open House
