The series features activities and programs for all ages and prizes for achieving reading goals. This year the community reading goal is two million minutes!
There will be over fifty public programs throughout the summer including concerts, cinema screenings, performances, workshops and more. Those who wish to participate can use the Beanstack app to register or visit any library location to get a log to track reading minutes. Anything counts as reading including, magazines, audio books and graphic novels.
This year’s prizes include a free book for all youth who register and a free pass to a Parks & Recreation facility for all registering adults. Every finisher receives a free Cold Stone Creamery ice cream and a pass to Gateway Fun Park. Summer of Discovery is made possible through the generous support of the Boulder Library Foundation.
