The City of Boulder has awarded approximately $3.8 million of Community, Culture, Resilience and Safety (CCRS) Tax revenue to local non-profit organizations for capital projects.

The Community, Culture and Safety Tax was initially authorized by voters in 2014 and was extended in 2017. The tax was extended again as the Community, Culture, Resilience and Safety Tax in 2021, with the extension expiring in 2036. Up to 10% of the tax revenue, or approximately $21.75 million over 15 years, will be set aside to support non-profit organizations in completing capital projects.

"We are thrilled to announce the awardees for this round of CCRS funding,” said City Manager Nuria Rivera-Vandermyde, “These grants will contribute to a sustainable and resilient non-profit community and help realize the community’s vision of supporting these vital community-serving organizations.”
