The City of Boulder is notifying the community of unclaimed checks issued by the city to people and organizations.

The City of Boulder is notifying the community of unclaimed checks (called intangible unclaimed property) issued by the city to people and organizations. As authorized by city code (BRC 2-2-18), property that goes unclaimed for more than six months is considered abandoned.

At the end of the six months any abandoned property that remains unclaimed 60 days from the date of this notice, will become the property of the city.

The city has published a list of these outstanding checks at https://bouldercolorado.gov/unclaimed-property. The webpage also provides information about how to claim property. People may also contact the City of Boulder’s Finance Department at 720-564-2361 for more information.
