Water is Love screening to take place at eTown Hall on April 23

In honor of Earth Day, the City of Boulder invites community members to attend a series of events focused on climate action, ecosystem restoration and local sustainability. These events aim to inspire collective action, deepen community connections and highlight Boulder’s work to build a more resilient future.

A highlight of this year’s Earth Day events is a free public screening of the documentary "Water is Love," a powerful film that follows a group of young people grappling with the climate crisis as they explore stories of regenerative ecosystem design to restore water cycles and build community resilience. The screening will take place on Wednesday, April 23 at eTown Hall, located at 1535 Spruce St. in Boulder. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the film beginning at 6:30 p.m. Registration is required, this screening is free and open to the public.

"Earth Day is a time to reflect on our connection to the planet and how we can take meaningful steps toward resilience,” said Jonathan Koehn, Director of Climate Initiatives. “Water is Love brings together global stories and local relevance, helping us see the potential of working with natural systems to heal and adapt.”

Before the screening, attendees are invited to learn about the city’s climate programs and regenerative initiatives, including ways to get involved in local climate action.
