The National Weather Service – Boulder is warning of severe weather potential today in Boulder for large hail, damaging winds, a few tornadoes and localized flooding.

To prepare:

  • Sign up to receive emergency alerts at bocoalert.org

  • Seek shelter. Unhoused community members can find resources at bldr.fyi/HomelessnessServices

  • Check in with your neighbors

  • If possible, park cars in a sheltered location

  • Bring valuable objects/plants indoor

  • Avoid underpasses. With the potential for flooding, underpasses are not a safe place to seek shelter.
