Volunteers appointed to serve on a board or commission help City Council examine issues and, in turn, work with elected officials and staff to shape the future of Boulder.
Board and Commission meetings are offered in a hybrid format allowing members the option to participate in-person or virtually. Members are also offered an EcoPass to enjoy unlimited rides on RTD trains and buses.

Applications will be open until Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026. Many boards and commissions have unique requirements for applicants. Please see the list of requirements and vacancies on the city’s website. A reminder that if your term is set to expire this year, you must reapply for your current seat.
