The Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) agricultural fields 435 and 517 on the Hartnagle and ERTL properties are available for agricultural uses. This 21.5-acre portion of these properties is located between 75th and 95th Streets and north of Boulder Creek. Access is via a private road on the west side of 95th Street, opposite 4536 N 95th St.
City staff have elected to pursue a negotiated assignment of these fields of the Hartnagle and ERTL properties to S&P LLC. The proposed assignment of this field is intended to improve the viability of the S&P LLC operation currently under agreement with the city. The City of Boulder is undertaking a wetland restoration project on property currently leased by S&P LLC. Land has been temporarily removed from the S&P LLC lease area while restoration is in progress. This assignment of this field of the Hartnagle/ERTL property is intended to replace a portion of the land being removed from the lease for restoration purposes. This assignment is for a two-year period.
You have the ability to appeal staff’s recommendation to assign this field of the Hartnagle property. You must do so in writing within five business days after the notice of property assignment is posted on the city website. All written appeals shall be delivered via e-mail to OSMPAgLeasing@bouldercolorado.gov. An appeal of the choice of assignment method shall briefly and succinctly state the reason why the decision is not consistent with current OSMP guidelines (Agricultural Land Use Assignment Guidelines).
