About the ACApp

The Annual Customer Application (ACApp) is required for organizational renters (listed as "Corporate" accounts in Amilia SmartRec) who use BPR spaces. This applies to both exclusive and non-exclusive use and includes commercial and non-commercial activities.

Individual operators who charge fees for an activity on park property or accept donations for participation must also have an approved ACApp.

Rangers will be enforcing ACApp compliance requirements regularly.

If you are planning to charge fees or accept donations for participation in an activity you are running on BPR property, see Commercial Activities at Parks & Recreation Properties

Who needs an ACApp

You DO need to apply for an ACApp if:

  • You are charging fees for an activity in the park
  • You are accepting donations for participation in an activity
  • You are conducting an official organizational event (even if it’s free)

You DON'T need to apply for an ACApp if:

  • Your group includes fewer than 50 people AND:
    • No fees are charged
    • Donations are not accepted
    • It is hosted by a private individual and is not affiliated with any organization or entity.

If you fall into the "don't need" category, go enjoy the park! Just follow the posted rules.

Please Note: All fundraising events are prohibited.

ACApp Benefits

An approved ACApp provides the following:

  • Eligibility to submit reservation requests on behalf of a corporation or organization
  • Permission to charge fees or accept donations for activities in the park (after staff approval of dates, times and location)
  • Liability protection through required insurance coverage
  • Waiving of damage deposits with protection instead provided through terms and conditions for using the space
  • Cost recovery for park maintenance and operations

Please note: Staff approve specific reservations based on availability. An approved ACApp does not guarantee access to a particular space.

Application Requirements

  • Primary contact information of a responsible contact to the organization/entity
  • A general description of planned activities
  • Agreement to the terms and conditions for using the space (this takes the place of damage deposits)

The department recognizes that obtaining the Additional Insured endorsement can involve a cost. If an applicant cannot complete this requirement at the time of ACApp approval, they must pay the application fee and provide an updated policy with a compliant certificate within15 business days.

ACApp Fee

The $50 annual fee covers administrative costs and is due upon approval of your application. This annual fee will go into effect in 2027. The application remains open year-round and will be reviewed within 10 business days of submission. Applications are required to be renewed annually.
