About Chad
B-Shift Battalion Chief
Chad Rennich started with the City of Boulder's Fire-Rescue Department in 2020 after working for the Lafayette Fire Department for 17 years. At Lafayette, Chad was promoted through the ranks of Engineer, Lieutenant, and then Battalion Chief in 2012. He has served on Boulder County's Hazardous Materials Team since 2009. Chad graduated from CU Boulder in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology.
