B-Shift Battalion Chief

Jared Ginsberg is the Battalion Chief for B-Shift. He oversees the Boulder Fire-Rescue Training Division and is involved with Professional Development and Peer Support.

Ginsberg is also currently serving as Interim Deputy Chief for Support Services. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the support and administrative portions of the department. This includes training, finance, fleet and facilities, as well as departmental planning and development.

Ginsberg started working at Boulder Fire-Rescue on March 6, 2000. He has experience with Fire Investigations, Hazardous Materials, Technical Research, Program Development, Peer Support, and Professional Development. Ginsberg has previously held the position of Firefighter, -Lieutenant and Captain (assigned as Training Captain). He holds degrees in Fire Science Technology, Fire Investigations, Fire Codes and Ordinances from Red Rocks Community College and a degree in Ministerial Studies from Global University.
