Pool Parties

We offer indoor pool parties year-round at our recreation centers, and outdoor parties during the summer months at both Scott Carpenter Pool and Spruce Pool.

Indoor Pool Party Information

Indoor pool parties include 2 hours of exclusive use of a designated recreation center room and shared access to the leisure pool during your event. Pool parties may be available during Leisure Pool Open Swim. Submit the recreation center party and room rental request form to inquire about availability.

Pool Party Fee: $300 Resident: $250
Price includes up to 20 participants.

Outdoor Pool Party Information

Scott Carpenter Pool: Party includes use of designated shade shelter by the Splash Pad with seating for 2 hours. Reservations are available Saturday, May 23 to Sunday, Aug. 9, excluding holidays. Daily reservation rental block options: 11:00am - 1:00pm, 1:30pm - 3:30pm, 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Includes up to 5 tables, 40 chairs and 1 trash can. Pool is shared access to the lap & leisure pool during Open Swim.
Online reservations are required for outdoor pool parties.

Spruce Pool: Party includes use of designated picnic tables for 2 hours, Reservations are available Saturdays and Sundays May 23 to Aug. 9, 10am - 12pm. Includes picnic tables Max party capacity is: 40 participants.

Additional Details

  • Refunds will not be given for admissions paid for in advance. Exceptions may apply during weather closures.
  • Additional admissions may be purchased the day of your visit at our normal daily rate.
  • All fees must be paid prior to the rental.
  • If your guests have pool passes, they can be excluded from your total count, but they will be required to scan their pass for admission.

Arrival:

  1. Upon arrival, please check in at the front desk and confirm your reservation and party space.
  2. An aquatics staff member will meet you and lead you to your space.
  3. Swimmers under the age of 12 that want to use the deep-water area (diving board, drop slide, rock wall and lazy river) must take a swim test.
  4. Swimmers that want to use the slides must be 48” tall.

Age and Ratios:

  1. Ages 5 and under – must be accompanied in water by an adult 16 years or older within arm’s reach. The child to adult ratio is 3/1.
  2. Ages 6 and older- must be observed from the deck or in the water by an adult 16 years or older. All non- swimmers must stay within arm’s reach of an adult. The child to adult ratio is 10/1.

Safety Breaks (Scott Carpenter Only):

The pool is cleared for 10 min and swim tests are conducted at the 50 min mark of every hour (for example: 11:50a, 12:50p, 1:50p, etc.). This is a perfect time to reapply sunscreen, go to the bathroom, and drink some water.

Food and Beverages:

  1. With the exception of plastic, no-spill water bottles, food or beverages are not allowed in the pool area when at the indoor facilities. Food and beverages are allowed in the pool area at the outdoor pools, as long as it’s kept away from the water. Parties will have a designated area with tables and chairs.
  2. Absolutely no glass or alcohol allowed in the facility.
  3. Small cakes and ice cream can be stored in the refrigerator in the Aquatics office.

Decorations:

  1. Balloons are allowed, but are highly discouraged at outdoor facilities.
  2. No piñata's or confetti allowed.
  3. Candles cannot be lit on cakes at indoor facilities.

Cancellation/ Refund Policy:

  1. A group reservation cancellation request received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled rental date, a full refund may be requested and given, less the $15 administration processing charge.
  2. A group reservation cancellation request received less than two weeks prior to the scheduled rental date, a refund may be requested and given, less 50 percent of the cost of the rental.
  3. A group reservation cancellation request received within seven days of the reservation date will not be accepted.

Weather and Other Closures:

  1. Staff reserve the right to close the facility or clear the pool for weather or other circumstances.
  2. If due to inclement weather or mechanical reasons the pool must be closed during your group reservation- you may receive a partial refund or rain check passes.
  3. If the pool did not open for the day or during your group reservation due to inclement weather or a mechanical reason – you will have the option to transfer your rental to another date, or a full refund can be issued.
