Application Requirements for Proposed Liquor License Locations

  • Vicinity Map
    • Identifying location of tenant space
  • Licensed Premise Diagram – Must be drawn to scale
    • Indoor square footage, per Floor Area definition in Section 9-16 of the Boulder Revised Code, 1981
    • Outdoor square footage
      • Outdoor Patio spaces, when located in the public right-of-way, require a city issued revocable license. Review requirements and apply for a revocable license on the Revocable Permits and Leases webpage.
      • Patio seating areas of 300 square feet or more within 500 feet of a residential zoning district will require discretionary review prior to approval of this zoning confirmation
    • Hours of operation
    • Seating layout
    • Extents of patio seating area
  • Parking Summary – For entire plaza, shopping center or building
    • Unit numbers
    • Tenant names
    • Square footage for all tenant spaces
    • For all restaurants
