The City of Boulder Public Art Program has contracted with artists David Franklin and Aaron Whelton (Indianola, WA) to create and install "Strata Uplift" -- a unique, site-specific public art installation for the 11th & Spruce Street Parking Garage in Boulder, CO. The public artwork will reflect a “first impression” of downtown Boulder, experienced by both vehicular users of the parking structure as well as multimodal and pedestrians in the immediate vicinity.
