The TRG provides recommendations to the city manager on awarding affordable housing funds, both federal and local and provide direction and advice to City staff on other matters related to affordable housing finance.
The TRG is composed of no more than seven members. With the exception of members who represent the community at large, members shall have professional experience relevant to the affordable housing industry. The city is currently recruiting four new members, to be appointed by the City Manager, including:
- One commercial lender with experience financing residential projects
- One realtor or other real estate professional with real estate sales experience
- Two representatives of the community at large
Members shall be appointed to serve for one five-year term which may be renewed for an additional five-year term. Members may serve for a maximum of two consecutive terms.
