Community Protection Division Drop-in Office Hours
The Community Protection Division of the Boulder County District Attorney can answer questions and concerns about disputes between individual consumers and businesses, including various types of scams. Older adults can meet with a Community Protection Specialist once a month for 15-30 minutes to discuss personal situations and ask questions. The Community Protection Specialist is not able to answer legal questions or provide legal advice.

Personal Finance
Join Boulder County’s Personal Finance Team, a HUD-certified Housing Counseling Agency, for a presentation on options and resources to support financial goals. Topics include managing a mortgage payment, buying a home, understanding a reverse mortgage, feeling more confident with money, and determining the best ways to pay off debt. The Personal Finance Team will also offer information, on free, individualized appointments.

TALK LIFE: Drop-In Coaching for Advance Care Planning
The Conversation Project in Boulder County (TCPBC) can assist with advance care planning through confidential, free coaching. Many people wait for a health crisis to have a conversation about end-of-life wishes. TCPBC advocates for conversations to start early and be revisited often. TCPBC coaches are knowledgeable in advance directives and resources to communicate personal considerations and compassionate end-of-life planning. This program is offered on a monthly basis.

Participants will learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate their vehicles more safely in today's increasingly challenging driving environment. Car Fit
Developed by the American Automobile Association, AARP, and the American Occupational Therapy Association, CarFit's trained professionals take older drivers through a 12-point checklist with a personal vehicle and recommend minor adjustments that help make the car "fit" better for comfort and safety. An occupational therapist will also explain how to maintain and strengthen driving health. Participants must register in advance for a 30-minute time slot.

Early Childhood Service Corps Workforce Information Session
The Early Childhood Service Corps (ECSC) is a nonprofit committed to addressing the early childhood education workforce crisis while fostering intergenerational connections and enhancing older adults’ well-being. The program offers individuals 50+ free virtual training and placement in volunteer or paid positions near their location, supporting children aged 0-5 and strengthening community ties. This information session will provide more insight into this opportunity.
